Sometimes rumors are just rumors, sometimes they turn out to be true, and other times not. It’s hard to put into words the ups and downs over the past few months. The local coffee shop where I have done all my holiday mini sessions has been in business for 3 years now at the current location on Cliff and it’s sad to see this chapter close for them. As someone once told me, “that’s just business”. Is it right? Who’s to say whether anything in this world is right or wrong. Maybe this is simply the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. It’s tough to be in business for yourself and to make a living doing something you love to do. I can relate with my photography business. I’m amazed at the support that this community has for its local businesses. Keeping things local takes on a whole new meaning when you put your dollars into the small mom & pop shops. It’s putting money back into the community, back into the pockets of the people who are making a living doing what they love to do in order to provide for their family. It has been such a blessing meeting Laura and getting to know her and her family over the years and I'm blessed to say that I have found a true friend.
Before I start to get too emotional...check out these product photos I had been capturing over the past few months for Lava's Coffee & Cafe!
Oh and I designed the new logo too! :D
